Real Talk, a semi-annual event aimed at encouraging student-parent communication and offering the collective wisdom of high school- and college-student panelists, is often centered around a theme, which this time was about perceived risks and their relevance to everyone’s daily lives.. After a few opening statements, including a heartfelt farewell to the estimable Robert Kim, the panelists (Raymond Zhao, Arwen Yoon, Max Jin, Eric Wang, Peter Hu, and Hyelee Yoon) began the dialogue with a discussion on how each of them has dealt with risks and fears.   Back to Website   4 – Real Talk: Skills for the Public   Panelists Raymond Zhao - UDHS Class of 2018 Frank Wang - UDHS Class 2020   Keynote Speaker - Robert Kim Robert has served on the school board since 2015. He and his wife Wonmin have resided in Upper Dublin since 2005. Together, they have three children in the District. Robert served on the Strategic Planning Committee and coaches several sports teams in Upper Dublin. He holds degrees from the University of California at Irvine (B.A. in Sociology 1996), Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity, 1999), Fuller Theological Seminary (Master of Theology in Intercultural Studies, 2007), and Reformed Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry, 2017). Robert planted Gracepoint Church in 2006 and now serves as Church Planting Coordinator for the tri-state area.

She attended Council Rock North High School and graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance in 2014. Before starting law school, she obtained her CPA and worked as a corporate accountant at The Vanguard Group, Inc. in Malvern, PA for about a year. Gloria began law school at Duke University in 2015. During her time in law school she worked as a judicial intern with The Honorable Judge Genine Edwards of King’s County Supreme Court in Brooklyn, New York, as a summer associate at Drinker Biddle & Reath in Philadelphia, PA, and as an Enforcement Division intern at the SEC in Washington, DC. Back to Website   2024 Lunar New Year; Library Festivities, Celebrating the Year of the Dragon On the afternoon of Saturday, February 3, hundreds of people gathered at the Upper Dublin Public Library to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year, the Year of the Dragon. Upon entering the library, guests were greeted by festive decorations of dragon signs, red festival lanterns, and balloons and were presented with activities including traditional Chinese calligraphy, paper-cutting, origami, Chinese chess, and drawing. They also enjoyed a variety of authentic Asian snacks in the STEAM lab and music performed by the Upper Dublin Sophisticated Strings, led by Ms. Kristine Yang.   Back to Website   Upper Dublin Celebrates the 2025 Lunar New Year Upper Dublin Celebrates the 2025 Lunar New Year Upper Dublin High School was vibrant with color, culture, and celebration on February 2, as the 2025 Upper Dublin Lunar New Year Festival captivated attendees with a showcase of music, dance, and interactive traditions. The event, which featured a stirring concert in the morning and a lively cultural fair in the afternoon, was coordinated by the Upper Dublin Chinese American Association (UDCA) in collaboration with the UDSD Asian American Students and Families Committee (AASF), UDHS Asian Students Association (ASA), Upper Dublin Library, Guanghua Chinese School, and other multiple organizations in the greater Philadelphia area.
