Keynote Speaker - Robert Kim

Robert has served on the school board since 2015. He and his wife Wonmin have resided in Upper Dublin since 2005. Together, they have three children in the District. Robert served on the Strategic Planning Committee and coaches several sports teams in Upper Dublin. He holds degrees from the University of California at Irvine (B.A. in Sociology 1996), Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity, 1999), Fuller Theological Seminary (Master of Theology in Intercultural Studies, 2007), and Reformed Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry, 2017). Robert planted Gracepoint Church in 2006 and now serves as Church Planting Coordinator for the tri-state area.

Back to Website   2024 Lunar New Year; Library Festivities, Celebrating the Year of the Dragon On the afternoon of Saturday, February 3, hundreds of people gathered at the Upper Dublin Public Library to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year, the Year of the Dragon. Upon entering the library, guests were greeted by festive decorations of dragon signs, red festival lanterns, and balloons and were presented with activities including traditional Chinese calligraphy, paper-cutting, origami, Chinese chess, and drawing. They also enjoyed a variety of authentic Asian snacks in the STEAM lab and music performed by the Upper Dublin Sophisticated Strings, led by Ms. Kristine Yang.   Back to Website   Upper Dublin Celebrates the 2025 Lunar New Year Upper Dublin Celebrates the 2025 Lunar New Year Upper Dublin High School was vibrant with color, culture, and celebration on February 2, as the 2025 Upper Dublin Lunar New Year Festival captivated attendees with a showcase of music, dance, and interactive traditions. The event, which featured a stirring concert in the morning and a lively cultural fair in the afternoon, was coordinated by the Upper Dublin Chinese American Association (UDCA) in collaboration with the UDSD Asian American Students and Families Committee (AASF), UDHS Asian Students Association (ASA), Upper Dublin Library, Guanghua Chinese School, and other multiple organizations in the greater Philadelphia area.
